We survived our first BLIZZARD!! Most snow Iowa has got from one storm in over 30 years!
It started Tuesday (12/8). School got out early, businesses were closing, news was saying get home and stay put!! School was cancelled Wednesday and everything was closed! The kids wanted to go outside so bad to play in the snow...the temp was -18 with wind chill and the wind was blowing at 40 mph...WHAT?
The storm was done by Thursday, but it was not pretty out there! School was cancelled again. The kids were very excited! We were not sure how long it was going to take to shovel out!
