For the past 4 years Eric has been riding in RAGBRAI (Registers Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa). For the last 2 years, Gavin and Georgia have been spending a week with Grammy & Grampy in Ohio. We meet them somewhere in between Iowa and Ohio to hand over the kids and off they go to Grammy and Grampy's. They have a ball! This year when Eric mentioned that we needed a meeting place on the Indiana/Illinois border. Our neighbor Jeff said. You have to go to 3 Floyd's Brewery. They have a restaurant and you can't get their beer in Iowa. So go there and bring me some back. =]!
So we did. It happened to be almost the exact middle point for us and them So it was perfect. We met. Had lunch. Then loaded the kids into their car and beer into ours!
Very excited for Grammy & Grampy's arrival!
The first thing we put in the car was the carseats. Gavin and Georgia hopped in and wouldn't even get out to say bye to us. They were buckled and ready to go - and we still had about 20 minutes of car loading to do!
