Ever since our friend Isabel got her hair cut short (last year sometime), Georgia has been wanting to join the club. I love her long hair and didn't want to cut it, because I new it would make her look so grown up. So I talked to Georgia about her and I letting our hair grow long enough until we had enough to cut and donate to "Locks of Love" or "Pantene Beautiful Lengths". We needed 8 inches for Pantene and 10 inches for Locks of Love. For the last 3 months every time Georgia has her hair trimmed she asks if it is long enough to donate. I held her off as long as I could and yesterday was the day. We cut off 9 inches! Georgia was very proud and was telling everyone that she was growing her hair "to give to someone who doesn't have any hair". I wish I could bottle the excitement she had for her new do - she is just beaming!! I must say, she does look fabulous!! But where did my baby go? She looks like such a big girl now.
