We started a tradition last year...we got a group of friends toghether and went and fed the people at the Central Iowa Shelter. After we fed them dinner we returned to our house and had our New Year's celebration. When we started to talk about this New Year's Eve plans we were sure we wanted to serve the people at the Central Iowa Shelter again. So the plan this year was take a group to feed the shelter and then come back to our house and celebrate the New Year! This year I stayed at the house with the kids and any other kids whose parents wanted to go to the shelter. That meant I had 7 kids. Crazy!
